- Ryan Fitzpatrick regrets one part of his Bo Nix rant
Prime Video Thursday Night Football analyst Ryan Fitzpatrick really went after Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix in Week 6, going on an epic, viral rant after the 107-yard, no touchdown, no interception performance from Nix against the Seattle Seahawks .
"It's almost disrespectful to the quarterback position how he's playing football right now," Fitzpatrick said of Nix . "He's not competing right now, and that's something that he's hung his hat on for the last two years. I don't know if he's still injured; I don't know what's going on, but it's not good enough."

On his podcast "Fitz & Whit" with fellow TNF host Andrew Whitworth, Fitzpatrick admitted that his "disrespectful" remark was one he wants to have back.
"So we go into the post-game, (Bo Nix) is all I wanted to talk about," Fitzpatrick said. "I don't wanna talk about Sam Darnold's two interceptions, cuz look, playing quarterback is hard. And there are a lot of things, like I said, that you can't control. But there are things you can control, and when you decide to turn it down, maybe that's what really bothered me. If I could take something back, I think that my comments were justified, because that's how I felt at the time... The line about being disrespectful to the quarterback position, it boiled over and that's the one phrase I wish I could have taken back."

Fitzpatrick said that he felt that his comments on Nix's effort were accurate, as he listed the quarterbacks who played on Sunday, and in his mind, displayed more fight than Nix did against Seattle.

Nix spoke to reporters on Wednesday ahead of Week 7, accepting blame for his play , and vowed to examine each part of his approach to each game to get back to the shape he was in pre-injury.
Denver will go on the road and look to prove Fitzpatrick and other pundits wrong when they face the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. Arizona is coming off a huge Week 6 win over the Los Angeles Rams.
