What Christen Miller brings to the Saints in the 2026 NFL Draft

Miller has played in high-level games for the last three seasons after being elevated from a redshirt reserve in 2023. NFL analyst Lance Zierlein called him an even-front nose guard who can find early advantage at the point of attack and can even "rattle pads," though he loses his anchor in scenarios like double teams and strong angle blocks.

Christen Miller's highlights, strengths, weaknesses at Georgia

The Ellenwood, Ga., native stands at 6-foot-4 and 310 pounds. Zierlein said while Miller lacks mass and girth and has average anticipation signals, he's sturdy, able to remain balanced and square through contact and at the point of attack. His power comes more from hip explosion into contact while his upper body prevents blockers from taking control of him. He rarely finds himself on the ground, except when he saw his feet moved by Tennessee 's strong inside line.

Christen Miller's stats with Georgia

Miller collected 64 total tackles, 31 solo and 33 assisted, in 43 games over four seasons. He also had four sacks for a loss of 24 yards and one pass breakup.

Christen Miller's NFL comparison

Miller is similar to Derrick Brown from the Carolina Panthers . While he didn’t come into the draft with as much hype as Brown (who was SEC Defensive Player of the Year and a first-round pick out of Auburn), the two share a similar size profile. Miller isn’t quite the pass rusher that Brown is, but he is in line to carve out a similar role as a starting-caliber interior defender.
