Saints select Iowa CB TJ Hall with pick No. 219 in 2026 NFL Draft
With the 2026 NFL Draft winding down, the New Orleans Saints had one selection left at the time, that being No. 219. The vast majority of their picks have gone to the offensive side of the ball, along with two defenders being added to the fold. Now, at 219, they have continued to build towards the defense, adding Iowa cornerback TJ Hall.
Selection No. 219 was the pick the Saints received back in their trade with the Las Vegas Raiders for Tyree Wilson , moving their No. 150 overall pick to get back the edge rusher.
This allowed them to select Hall in the seventh round, finalizing their eight-pick 2026 class. Hall ended up being a third-team All-Big Ten member, and comes into a cornerback room that truly needed some extra juice after the departure of Alontae Taylor earlier this offseason.
He will have an early opportunity to try and make an impact alongside young corners Kool-Aid McKinstry and Quincy Riley , along with earlier pick Lorenzo Styles Jr.
