- Saints vs. Vikings Game MVP
After being embarrassed now for two consecutive weeks, it is very difficult to find MVPs after games like these. However, one player did show up this week, and while his efforts were not matched it was definitely good to see him back on the field and have somewhat of a pulse on this team.
Carl Granderson is the MVP for the game against the Vikings. There was not a lot to be proud about on either side of the ball. But with Granderson making his return to the lineup, it was refreshing to see someone on the defensive front compliment Chase Young. Granderson finished the game with 5 total tackles 2 solos 1.5 sacks 2 TFLs and 2 QB hits. He was very disruptive and showcased something that this Saints defense has sorely been lacking opposite Chase Young for nearly the entire season.
Saints will travel to New York/New Jersey to take on the Giants on Sunday. Hopefully, things will turn around sooner than later.
