Two preseason games down, one to go, as the Seattle Seahawks try to form their roster for the upcoming title defense.
With each day that goes by, something happens that boosts the stock of one player or drops the stock of another, but who is going where? Let's go through three players that are going the right way, and another three going the wrong way.
Apparently, this team thinks so highly of Knight that they don't even need to see him play in the preseason anymore. He was shelved for last night's game in Tennessee after being the clear best player on the team the previous week, which indicates that Macdonald views him as a crucial player that can't be risked. Look for him to get deployed on the edge .

Maybe the team had something like this in mind when they didn't work on a contract extension with Myers in the offseason, despite a record-breaking 2025? That's two missed field goals and a missed extra point so far, all kicks you'd expect a good kicker to make. This is the last year of Myers's contract, so there are options open to the team if this persists.

After a game against the Cowboys where the pass rush was mostly uninspiring, things went a lot better this time around. The main reason why was Connor O'Toole , who was credited with six pressures by Pro Football Focus last night. He, Jamie Sheriff , and Jalan Gaines are in a battle to make the roster, and O'Toole did himself some serious favors here.
The good news is the Seahawks can afford to be patient with Jalen if they want to be. The bad news is he's not showing any signs of improvement that makes the decision obvious. Last night was the worst he's looked so far in his career, and he's put zero points on the board through two preseason games. Drew Lock's job as a backup is safe, but is Milroe's roster spot?

Ugly interception that was negated by a (dubious) defensive penalty aside, that was exactly what I wanted Drew Lock to show. He took what was easy and routine all night, cashing in on checkdowns and short throws, while tossing in a shot or two before hitting Arroyo on a broken coverage. Against the starting defense for the Titans, it helps instill confidence in his game .

These guys just can't hold their ground against the run. It happened last week, and it happened again this week. For much of the second half, despite playing from behind, Tennessee was able to pick up big chunks of yardage by just going right up the middle. Uso Seumalo, J.R. Singleton, Bubba Thomas and Deven Eastern all got run over. Not NFL-caliber.
