The Oklahoma City Thunder watched Shai Gilgeous-Alexander hit league history Sunday amid their NBA Playoffs run. Gilgeous-Alexander's Most Valuable Player win shattered a Michael Jordan mark . But SGA wasn't the only one receiving a gift.

His Thunder teammates got some unreal shiny ones, courtesy of the reigning MVP himself. Each player earned new special watches as his way of saying thank you for pushing him to the award.
Gilgeous-Alexander got each teammate watches from the Swedish company Audemars Piguet, which specializes in making luxury watches. The company is especially known for its royal oak collection .
The now back-to-back MVP winner stretched his personal victory lap to thanking the fans next. He stood at the podium to shout them out, even praising them for not abandoning the Thunder before the team became a contender.

"I really, really, really knew they were real when we sucked for three years and they didn't go anywhere," Gilgeous-Alexander said. "That's when I realized they really love us."
SGA then conducted an interview with Amazon Prime with his teammates right behind him. He did something similar last year when he accepted the 2025 honor as he allowed his fellow Thunder 'mates to join him.
SGA dropped 31.1 points per game but increased his assists to 6.6 per game to repeat as MVP. He also improved his 3-point percentage to 38.6.
But now the focus shifts over to Monday, with Game 1 against the San Antonio Spurs next.

"Obviously, a really good team. They've been right behind us all year, so we obviously don't take them in the slightest. They're a really good team," he told the Amazon crew.
SGA earns a chance to become the first MVP to win consecutive NBA titles since LeBron James in 2012 and 2013.
