William Eklund will miss the Ottawa Senators' games against the San Jose Sharks this season.
A hit from Simon Benoit on Oct. 8 had Eklund's ankle come up against the boards awkwardly. Eklund was not putting any weight on his leg as he was helped off the ice.

Eklund is out 10-12 weeks after ankle surgery
.
So for the San Jose Sharks' games against Ottawa on Oct. 22 and 31, there will be no William Eklund.
There were lots of Eklunds in Ottawa recently though, as younger brother Victor came through with the New York Islanders. Their parents Christian and Maria were there, as was Fabian Zetterlund , of course!
