Quero is the Brewers’ top catching prospect and ranked as the organization’s No. 4 overall prospect by the Journal Sentinel entering the season.

The 23-year-old has been on the precipice of the big leagues for a couple of seasons now, but injuries have kept him from making his debut.

He suffered a torn labrum that required season-ending surgery on the first day of the 2024 season at Class AAA and only appeared in 69 games a year ago in the minors, batting .271 with a .839 on-base plus slugging percentage.
