- Sources: Man United and Arsenal told definitive Wesley transfer update
Arsenal and Manchester United will both have to wait until next summer for the chance to sign Roma right-back Wesley, sources have told Football Insider.
The pair of Premier League giants are paying serious attention to the 23-year-old's progress and are both huge admirers of him.

The duo are both looking to strengthen in the full-back positions in the upcoming transfer windows, with Wesley one of their leading targets.
However, sources say that Roma are not prepared to sell the Brazil international in the middle of the campaign.
Gian Piero Gasperini's side are hoping to enjoy a deep run in the Champions League this term, and are not prepared to lose any of their key players as a result.
Wesley has played every single minute of their European campaign so far, and will not be allowed out of the door in January.
Wesley to continue rapid rise with Premier League move
Wesley only joined Roma in 2025, but he has quickly established himself as one of the leading full-backs in Serie A.

He is capable of playing on either side of the defence and is also equally adept in either a wing-back or full-back role.
He even netted five goals in Serie A during his debut season last term, as he nailed down his place as one of the first names on the team sheet for Roma.
The youngster could soon be handed the chance to continue his rapid rise and move to the Premier League, but he may have to bide his time for now.
Wesley is enjoying Champions League football in the Italian capital at the moment, but a move could potentially be on the cards next summer.
Roma value the defender highly at around the £50million mark, and that could potentially increase if he continues his current vein of form.

'His time is running out' - Eberechi Eze could already be finished at Arsenal as expert shares 'harsh truth' Eberechi Ez running out of time at Arsenal
Former United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insiderearlier this week that Arsenal are starting to have serious concerns regarding the future of attacking midfielder Eberechi Eze.
The ex-recruitment man made it clear that the England international has been "nowhere near good enough" since his £70million move from Crystal Palace in 2025.
Brown feels that Arsenal don't know how to get the best out of Eze at the moment, and added that he is "running out of time" to prove his worth at the Emirates Stadium.
Eze is under contract in North London until 2029, but the Gunners could potentially cut his stay short if he doesn't begin to improve.
