Villanova has been active this offseason looking to replace spots in the backcourt.

There will be another option on campus this weekend at St. Mary’s transfer Mikey Lewis is set to visit Villanova, according to Dushawn London of 247Sports.

Lewis started all 33 games as a sophomore for the Gaels while leading them to the NCAA Tournament. He averaged 13.9 points and shot 36.8% from three-point range. He also shot 88.2% from the free throw line.

Villanova lost both Acaden Lewis (Miami) and Bryce Lindsay (Indiana) in the transfer portal. Chris Jeffrey also announced his intent to transfer as well. This means head coach Kevin Willard will have to replace multiple spots in the backcourt.

Villanova hosted both DJ Wagner and Jake Fiegen on visits this week. Neither guard has made a decision just yet.

The Wildcats have added Kwame Evans Jr. and Devin Royal so far this offseason. There is more work for Willard to do and plenty of interest from transfers thus far.
