This is the first time that he's been reported to interview for a general manager position, though he has been connected to such jobs in the past.
The Falcons are one of two teams that had a general manager vacancy this offseason. The other was filled when the Miami Dolphins hired former Green Bay Packers assistant Jon-Eric Sullivan.
Outgoing Falcons general manager Terry Fontenot was fired, along with head coach Raheem Morris, on Jan. 4. The Falcons have already replaced Morris, hiring former Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski, with newly hired Falcons president of football Matt Ryan running that search along with owner Arthur Blank.
