The Pittsburgh Steelers tried out 12 offensive and defensive linemen at UPMC Rooney Sports Complex on Tuesday, according to the NFL transactions page.
The 12 players — eight offense, four defense — were likely trying out for contracts for the 2026 season, as Steelers do not have pressing needs at either position at the present moment. The Steelers recently got Derrick Harmon back to their lineup on Sunday.

Teams can begin signing players to future contracts for 2026 as soon as the regular season ends, so scouting staffs usually try to get a leg up on that process by hosting players before the signing can begin.
