Eric Edholm of NFL.com has the Pittsburgh Steelers selecting Alabama offensive lineman Kadyn Proctor at No. 21 overall in his latest mock draft.
"Mike McCarthy loves athletic big men, and this 6-7, 352-pounder can give the Steelers insurance at left tackle after starting there for three years in college," Edholm wrote. "Proctor also could be tried at left guard or right tackle if the Steelers want to shuffle current pieces around."
Proctor was a consensus All-American and first-team All-SEC in 2025.

Proctor's NFL.com prospect report lists him at 6-foot-7 and 366 pounds. Analyst Lance Zierlein describes Proctor as "a mass of humanity with rare size and length at his command. He's capable as a move blocker but shines when rolling downhill as a bona-fide people mover with bulldozing power."
Proctor has a 6.45 prospect grade, which means he will become a good starter within two years. Proctor could slot in as Broderick Jones ' replacement or move over to guard, which is a position of need with Isaac Seumalo signing with the Arizona Cardinals in free agency.
Offensive tackle could be a major need for the Steelers in the draft, especially considering Broderick Jones' season-ending neck injury last year. Steelers general manager Omar Khan must choose whether to pick up Jones' fifth-year option by May 1. Jones, a first-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, suffered the neck injury against the Chicago Bears in Week 12, which sidelined him for the rest of the season. It sounds like that's a factor Khan is considering as he weighs whether to secure Jones past next season.
"Obviously, he had a significant injury and we're monitoring how he progresses," Khan said at the NFL Scouting Combine. "I know he's working hard. It's early in the process. That's certainly something that we're monitoring."
Jones started 11 games at left tackle last season, taking over for Dan Moore Jr. , who left to join the Tennessee Titans in free agency. Jones mainly played right tackle before that.
The Steelers have hosted Miami offensive tackle Markel Bell as one of their 30 pre-draft visits.
Bell is a massive human, standing at 6-foot-9, 346 pounds. He's also fast for his size, posting an impressive 5.36 in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine . Bell has nine-inch hands and an arm length of 36 3/8.
Clemson offensive tackle Blake Miller, who stands at 6-foot-7, 317 pounds, started 54 consecutive games at right tackle during his four-year career (2022–2025) at Clemson. Daniel Jeremiah of NFL Network had the Steelers selecting Miller in his latest mock draft.
The Steelers could once again address the trenches in the first round of the draft. The Steelers have selected either an offensvive lineman or defensive lineman in the first round in each of the last three drafts.
