Steelers Land Dynamic Playmaker in Latest 2026 NFL Mock Draft
The Pittsburgh Steelers finally add a significant piece to their wide receiver room in the latest 2026 NFL Mock Draft.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have been trying to find a legitimate No. 2 wide receiver for the last couple of years, but many are starting to believe that wait will finally come to an end this offseason.
Pro Football Sports Network predicts the Steelers will select Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion with the No. 21 overall pick in its latest mock draft.
“If the goal for the Pittsburgh Steelers is to give Aaron Rodgers more weapons in the passing game, adding a dynamic receiver like KC Concepcion could be a game-changer. His true value comes as a RAC weapon: he routinely makes defenders miss, turns short completions into chunk gains, and demonstrates the calculated quickness and bursts of physicality needed to beat press coverage,” PFSN wrote.
“A former dual-threat at NC State and later Texas A&M, Concepcion brings a rare mix of agility, speed, and vision. Paired with DK Metcalf , he would give Pittsburgh a versatile receiving duo capable of stretching defenses horizontally and vertically, providing Rodgers the dynamic weapons needed to elevate the passing attack.”
Concepcion, 21, is certainly an intriguing player coming off an impressive three-year collegiate career, during which he played for NC State (2023-24) and Texas A&M (2025).
During that span, he racked up 185 catches for 2,218 yards and 25 touchdowns. He also ran for 431 yards and three more scores.
Concepcion was the fourth receiver chosen in the projection. Ohio State’s Carnell Tate (No. 8, New Orleans Saints ), USC’s Makai Lemon (No. 13, Los Angeles Rams ) and Arizona State’s Jordyn Tyson (No. 16, New York Jets) all went before him.
