The Pittsburgh Steelers may have one last move to lure back quarterback Aaron Rodgers .
The Pittsburgh Steelers reportedly still do not know if quarterback Aaron Rodgers is planning to return next season. However, Bucky Brooks of NFL.com believes they may have one last move up their sleeve to try and lure him back to Pittsburgh.
In Brooks' latest 2026 NFL Mock Draft, he has the Steelers selecting Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion with the No. 21 overall pick, and he reminds Brooks of one of Rodgers' all-time favorite targets.
"Perhaps new head coach Mike McCarthy sees a little Randall Cobb in the Texas A&M standout," Brooks wrote . "Concepcion's playmaking skills as a catch-and-run specialist would add a new dimension to the Steelers' passing game."
Concepcion, 21, is already a very intriguing player coming off an impressive three-year collegiate career, during which he played for NC State (2023-24) and Texas A&M (2025).
During that span, he racked up 185 catches for 2,218 yards and 25 touchdowns. He also ran for 431 yards and three more scores.

However, if Concepcion can have the type of production Cobb did in his 13-year NFL career, when he recorded 630 catches for 7,624 yards, and 54 touchdowns, the Steelers could be getting a steal in the second half of the first round.
Rodgers also had a long-time connection with Cobb as they played 10 seasons together in Green Bay. So if he were looking for any more reasons to end his second offseason saga with the Steelers, landing a clone of Cobb could certainly do that.
There are expected to be several wide receivers selected in the first round of this year's draft, and Brooks' mock draft is no different.
Ohio State's Carnell Tate (No. 6 to Cleveland Browns ), Arizona State's Jordyn Tyson (No. 8 to New Orleans Saints ), and USC's Makai Lemon (No. 13 to Los Angeles Rams ) were all taken before Concepcion went off the board to Pittsburgh.
