The Pittsburgh Steelers get a little lucky in the latest 2026 NFL Mock Draft.
The Pittsburgh Steelers already traded the Indianapolis Colts for wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. this offseason, but many believe they could further strengthen their receiving corps with their first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Mike Band of NFL.com predicts exactly that will happen and has the Steelers using the No. 21 overall pick on Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson .
"With Mike McCarthy now in charge and the Steelers still valuing receivers who can separate and finish through contact, Tyson fits as a polished, early-starter type who can round out the room alongside DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman Jr.," Band wrote .
There are expected to be several wide receivers selected in the first round of this year's draft, but Band seems to believe there could be a wide receiver slide.
Only Ohio State's Carnell Tate (No. 8 to New Orleans Saints ) and USC's Makai Lemon (No. 16 to New York Jets ) were taken before Tyson went off the board to Pittsburgh.
Tyson, 21, is viewed as one of the top wide receiver prospects in this year's draft class after recording 136 catches for 1,812 yards and 18 touchdowns over the past two years at Arizona State.

The 6-foot-2, 203-pound wide receiver also met with the Steelers at the NFL Scouting Combine and called head coach Mike McCarthy "a legend in Dallas ."
"I feel like I'm a very quick player," Tyson said. "I'm a little twitched up is what Hines Ward would say. But yeah, I feel like I can win on my feet in various ways and I can set up defenders and win with my feet."
It would certainly be a dream scenario if Tyson were to fall to the Steelers come draft night. He's tabbed as the No. 14 overall player on the NFL Mock Draft Database's consensus big board .
