Jalen Ramsey has been out of practice for the Pittsburgh Steelers so far in training camp. Recently, Ramsey was back at practice, coming off the PUP list on Monday .
Ramsey's return to practice brought plenty of high praise , including some from Alex Highsmith , per Blitzburgh.
"The way he plays the game. He is someone who plays with such intensity, such verocity. He came out here, had a big hit today, so everyone's like 'welcome back 5′" Highsmith said to reporters.

Ramsey was on the PUP list due to a knee injury he sustained during mandatory injury camp. He is coming off a stellar first season with the Steelers. The defensive back played in all 17 games, racking up 88 tackles, tying a career high. He also had three sacks, while breaking up eight passes and intercepting a pass.
Ramsey was a first-round pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars out of Florida State in 2016. He played his first three seasons with the Jags before being traded during his fourth season to the Los Angeles Rams. Ramsey would go on to win a Super Bowl with the Rams and stay with them through the 2022 season. He was traded to the Miami Dolphins ahead of the 2023 season, and then traded to the Steelers ahead of the 2025 campaign.
Overall, Ramsey has played in 152 games, with 622 tackles, six sacks, 116 pass breakups and 15 interceptions.
Ramsey is expected to be one of ten defensive backs the Steelers keep on the roster . The Steelers will have one more preseason game on August 27 agaisnt the Buffalo Bills before opening the season on September 13 against the Atlanta Falcons.
