During the recent episode of The Christian Kuntz Podcast , the Pittsburgh Steelers long snapper made pitch for an Elandon Roberts reunion with the Steelers. Roberts, who spent the 2025 season with the Las Vegas Raiders, is an upcoming free agent.
He also has ties with Steelers defensive coordinator Patrick Graham, who was the Raiders DC. Graham was also the Patriots linebackers coach when Roberts was in New England.
Roberts, 31, spent two seasons with the Steelers from 2023 to 2024.
"If I'm getting into a fight, and I gotta call one person, it literally might be E-Rob. Like, I think I'm calling E-Rob," Kuntz said. "I hope we get him back. I know he's a free agent. I know the DC we signed, Patrick Graham is close with E-Rob from Vegas, so I'm hoping E-Rob comes back. 'Cause he was one of the best teammates I've had in my career."
It was a surprise decision by the Steelers to let Roberts walk in free agency last offseason. Roberts was an excellent run stuffer and respected veteran in the locker room. The team decided to sign linebacker Malik Harrison away from the Baltimore Ravens instead. Harrison's first season with the Steelers was not very impressive.

Alan Saunders of Steelers Now spoke with Roberts after he signed with the Raiders last March. Roberts said he'll look back fondly on his time with the Steelers.
"I hope that I earned the city of Pittsburgh's respect, just like I feel like I definitely did with the organization," Roberts said. "I wish them nothing but the best and the city of Pittsburgh will always be near and dear to me."
Who knows. With a new head coach in Las Vegas and Roberts' former defensive coordinator in Pittsburgh, perhaps a reunion will take place for Roberts in the Steel City.
