- Steelers' rival under fire for controversial Maxx Crosby decision
The Pittsburgh Steelers continue to watch from the sidelines as their AFC North rivals, the Baltimore Ravens , find themselves in the middle of one of the most controversial failed trades in NFL history — and they may have just made it worse.
Less than 13 hours after the Ravens backed out of their trade agreement to acquire Maxx Crosby from the Las Vegas Raiders over a failed physical, Baltimore has signed the premier free agent edge rusher Trey Hendrickson to a four-year, $112 million contract.
NFL executives and general managers from across the league have reportedly expressed frustration with the Ravens over their last-minute decision, as teams interested in acquiring Crosby gave up on the trade after Baltimore made their original commitment to send two first-round picks to Las Vegas .

While it'll be difficult to prove buyer's remorse, that hasn't stopped social media from ripping into the Ravens organization as the start of the new league year rapidly approaches.
