Speculation around Diggs and Cardi B began in early 2025, well before either acknowledged the relationship publicly. Reports placed them at the same New York nightclub in February, followed by their first confirmed sighting together at a Miami hotel on Valentine's Day.
By April, the rumours were impossible to ignore. Cardi was seen giving Diggs a lap dance at Coachella, and later that month she confirmed she was seeing someone. Even her ex-husband Offset publicly reacted, saying he was happy for her.
Public appearances took the relationship mainstream
Their relationship stepped into the spotlight in May 2025. Diggs and Cardi were spotted arriving separately but minutes apart at the same Met Gala after-party in New York.

Soon after, they made their first unmistakable public outing by sitting courtside together at a New York Knicks versus Boston Celtics game at Madison Square Garden. The appearance came before any social media confirmation, but the message was clear.
Instagram official and pregnancy announcement
June 2025 marked the point where Diggs and Cardi went Instagram official. While the original post is no longer visible, both shared photos together from Miami, removing any remaining doubt.
Three months later, Cardi confirmed during a CBS Mornings interview that she and Diggs were expecting their first child together. She described feeling supported, focused, and aligned with Diggs both personally and professionally.

At the time, Cardi was also promoting her album Am I the Drama?, balancing music, motherhood, and a high-profile relationship.
Baby arrival and continued support
In November 2025, Cardi announced the birth of their baby boy. The message framed the moment as a new chapter, blending personal growth with creative ambition.
By December, Cardi was back in the public eye alongside Diggs, attending a Patriots versus Jets game. The couple arrived together in coordinated vintage Chanel outfits, reinforcing how visible their relationship had become.
Super Bowl 60 proposal tease
Now, all eyes are on February 8. Ahead of Super Bowl 60, Diggs teased that a proposal could be part of the plan. Asked directly, he suggested it was "on the agenda," while also joking that he needed to secure his own ring first.
