The Tennessee Titans hosted the Chicago Bears at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee , in their final preseason game of 2026. The Titans held most of their starters out of the game, with Robert Saleh stating that he saw what he needed to see in the joint practice between the two teams on Thursday.
The Bears got out to a fast start early in the game, holding the Titans to three-and-out and following it up with a 97-yard touchdown pass. They never looked back, continuing to dismantle the Titans' secondary throughout the game. The Titans fought back, but never found the end zone, and the Bears ultimately won the game 24-15.
Here's a look at the studs and duds (and those in between) from the Titans' loss to the Bears.
Stud: EDGE Femi Oladejo
Femi Oladejo reminded us why the Titans drafted him in 2025. His rookie season wasn't what anyone expected, with him appearing in just six games. He set out to prove why he has a spot on this team, and against the Bears, he did just that, earning Player of the Game honors along the way. He was responsible for the first fourth-down stop against the Bears and was exactly where he needed to be, recording four tackles, one sack, one quarterback hit, and one tackle for a loss.
Dud: QB Will Levis
Unfortunately for Will Levis, his days in Tennessee are likely numbered. From poor on-field play for his first two seasons to missing all of 2025, he really needed to perform well during camp and preseason. Against the Bears, he completed 14 of 22 pass attempts for 143 yards; he rushed twice for one yard, fumbled the ball once (he recovered it himself), and never found the end zone.
Stud: RB Nicholas Singleton
Nicholas Singleton has proven to be a solid addition to the Titans' offense. He and Tyjae Spears will vie for the RB2 spot behind Tony Pollard , and it won't be surprising to see him on the field during the regular season. Against the Bears, Singleton rushed seven times for 26 yards, caught two passes for 18 yards, and recorded a tackle on special teams.
Dud: LB Mohamoud Diabate
Mohamoud Diabate is in his fourth season in the NFL, spending his first three seasons with the Cleveland Browns . The Titans brought him in believing that he could contribute and help mentor some of their younger players. Unfortunately, tonight, Diabate's name was called for not-so-great plays. He was penalized at least twice and missed tackles that needed to be made. It wasn't his night tonight.
Stud: LB Anthony Hill Jr.
Anthony Hill, on the other hand, is showing why he deserves to be a starter on this defense. He led the defense with six tackles (five solo) and was a disruptive presence to the Bears' offense. He sniffed out the ball several times and made tackles in critical moments. After the way he played today, it wouldn't be surprising to see Cody Barton move to the strong side opposite Cedric Gray and have Hill in the middle when the regular season starts.
Studly Dud: RB Julius Chestnut
Julius Chestnut didn't get his name called much against the Bears. He rushed once for zero yards and recorded one tackle on special teams. He didn't have many opportunities, but even with the ones he had, he didn't do much. Chestnut is a valuable special teams player, though, so expect him to land on the final 53-man roster.
