Surprising former Bengals player joins Steelers coaching staff
When one thinks of the Marvin Lewis era Cincinnati Bengals ’ rivalry with the Pittsburgh Steelers , some obvious names come up in a hurry.
Chad Johnson. T. J. Houshmandzadeh. Adam Jones. Domata Peko . Vontaze Burfict .

According to The Athletic’s Zac Jackson , Peko will join the Steelers as defensive line coach.

Peko, 41, had a role with the Dallas Cowboys in 2024 before working with Deion Sanders at Colorado last year. Now, he’ll join the new coaching staff with the Steelers under head coach Mike McCarthy, who replaces the departed Mike Tomlin.
Given Peko’s beloved status as a defensive presence (and sometimes fullback), it will be tough for Bengals fans to see him visit Paycor Stadium in black and yellow soon.
