Svilar completes 81.2% saves and decisive interventions
Mile Svilar is an absolute must for Roma .
Gian Piero Gasperini knows that if the defense leaves too much space for opposing attackers, the 1999-born player is ready to intervene to stem any threat.
Decisive saves, saves that lead to points, the number 99 is a guarantee of reliability. This is crucial for maintaining the top spot in the standings.

Other teams don't have the option of relying on such a decisive goalkeeper. If Roma has the second-best defense in Serie A after Cagliari , it's also thanks to Svilar.
Mile Svilar has a save percentage of 81.2%, approximately 2.5 per game. Regardless of his saves, the Giallorossi goalkeeper is among the top three in terms of average clean sheets among goalkeepers with at least 50 competitive appearances.
As Il Tempo reports, beyond the statistics, it's clear to see that the 99-year-old always manages to make at least a couple of decisive saves per game.
Even against Inter , his low save on Bisseck in the first half was crucial in maintaining the balance that had been established in that phase of the game.
Gasperini's style of play often allows his opponents to engage in one-on-one situations due to the full-field duels, situations that truly shine for the number 99.
