The final game of Day 4 of the 2026 World Cup saw Sweden vs Tunisia at the Monterrey Stadium.
Sweden defeated Tunisia 5-1 with goals from Yasin Ayari , Alexander Isak , Viktor Gyokeres , and Mattias Svanberg ; Omar Rekik scored the only goal for Tunisia.
Sweden took the lead in the 7th minute of the match after a poor mistake by Tunisia's goalkeeper Abdelmouhib Chamakh . Chamakh tried to catch a loose ball in the box but instead pushed the ball towards Viktor Gyokeres, giving Sweden a chance at goal.
After a missed chance from Gyokeres, the ball goes outside the box, and Yasin Ayari smashed the ball into the net to score Sweden's first goal of the night and of the tournament.

Alexander Isak scored Sweden's second goal of the night in the 30th minute with a great run from the left side and shooting at the edge of the box into the bottom corner.
Just before halftime, Tunisia would get a goal back with a header in the box by defender Omar Rekik.
In the second half, Tunisia started strongly and created chances, but it was Sweden who would score again. In the 59th minute, Ellyes Skhiri loses the ball to Isak, and he passes the ball to Gyokeres, who shoots first time to score Sweden's third goal.
In the 84th minute, Mattias Svanberg scored the fourth goal for Sweden 17 seconds after being substituted onto the pitch.
The goal was initially disallowed for offside, which he was, but VAR intervened and showed that Isak touched the ball first and reset the play, meaning that Svanberg is onside and the goal was given.
The final blow for Tunisia was another strike from Ayari, who scored from outside the box again, and this time he celebrated his goal.
