Tarik Muharemovic's impressive form at Leeds United unfortunately has some worrying aspects.
Since arriving at Elland Road from Sassuolo in the summer transfer window for £34.1million, the 23-year-old centre-back has become an instant hit among the Leeds fans.
Muharemovic has been a vital cog in a Leeds defence that has conceded just six goals in their opening eight Premier League matches, a figure that is only bettered by reigning champions Arsenal.
He's played every minute of every game in all competitions this term, assisting two goals and getting on the scoresheet against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup.
As a result of his good form, Muharemovic has been linked with a move away from Leeds.
And worries about his exit have been amplified by those who know Leeds best.
How long will Tarik Muharemovic be a Leeds player?
BBC Sport published an article about Muharemovic on Thursday morning, highlighting the brilliance of the Bosnia & Herzegovina international since his move to West Yorkshire.
However, Muharemovic's form is caveated by the fact there are already rumours surrounding his future at Elland Road.
Ex-Leeds Women striker Lucy Ward is quoted as saying: "Muharemovic has done that well that there will already be clubs looking at him, trying to nick him over the next few months."
Jonny Buchan, who presents the BBC's Don't Go To Bed Just Yet podcast, has said: "There could be a fear he is a one-year wonder with Leeds in that he does that well in the Premier League, raises his profile that much, that clubs will come for him."
BBC Sport's article highlights speculation linking Muharemovic to Liverpool, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan; moves that would no doubt prove just how good the Bosnian centre-back is.
Ex-Leeds manager Simon Grayson also admits that the ex-Sassuolo defender might not last long at his former club, saying: "I'm not daft enough to think he doesn't have aspirations to one day play for some of the biggest clubs in the world."
It feels as though Muharemovic's time at Leeds may be limited to potentially just one season.
Tarik Muharemovic rumours at Leeds United clarified as transfer insider speaks out How Tarik Muharemovic value has skyrocketed already after Leeds United transfer How Leeds can ensure Muharemovic stays longer
It's not all hopeless for the Leeds fans, who'll be desperate for Muharemovic to stay with them as long as possible.
When he signed in the summer, he penned a contract that runs until the end of the 2030/31 season.
It means that Leeds can either demand a lot of money for the Slovenia-born Bosnia international, or they can snub any potential bidders in the hope that his value continues to grow.
The Whites can snub any offers and offer him a new deal, but the best chance they have of keeping Muharemovic is to show him that Leeds is the place to be.
Qualifying for Europe would do that - reaching the Europa League is definitely achievable for the Whites this season.
Also, winning a domestic trophy would help. However, with Leeds out of the Carabao Cup, they'd have to set their sights on winning the FA Cup for just the second time in their history.
