Team USA and Duke head coach Kara Lawson continues to show her support for Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark.
Lawson guided Clark and Team USA to the gold medal in the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup in Berlin, Germany, in September. The national team went undefeated in the tournament, defeating France in the final.
Clark, for her part, recorded 7.8 points and a team-best 5.3 assists per game. She also recorded the most assists in the competition, finishing with 32.
While Clark never started for Team USA under Lawson, she was still in the top five in minutes per game (19.3) on the team. She was impactful every time she was on the floor, as evidenced by her team-high plus-minus rating of plus-20.2.
Lawson and Clark have developed a strong relationship following their Team USA run. That much is clear from the Duke head coach's words and actions after the FIBA World Cup.

On Sunday, Duke's social media account shared several photos of Lawson wearing Clark's first signature shoes, the Caitlin 1s, in what appears to be a team practice.
Lawson has worn Clark's Caitlin 1 "Blue Racer " shoes before. This time, she rocked the Caitlin 1 in the "Ice Cold" colorway. This version has yet to be released to the public, with its launch scheduled for Dec. 1.
"Caitlin 1's in snow white are tough," Duke wrote in the caption of its post.
For her part, Clark shared Duke's post to her Instagram stories to express her appreciation for the love and support shown by Lawson and the Blue Devils.
