The Tennessee Titans entered the weekend with an open roster spot after releasing defensive tackle Jordan Elliott early in the week, and on Saturday, they filled the opening with a familiar face.
After being elevated and making two total tackles in Week 6 to replace Elliott, veteran defensive tackle Timmy Horne was signed to the 53-man roster and will likely join the defensive line rotation against the Cleveland Browns .
A former undrafted rookie free agent with the Atlanta Falcons following the 2022 NFL Draft, he has been a quality rotational piece throughout his career. After three seasons with Atlanta and the New York Giants , he saw action in 21 games (five starts) and made 31 total tackles, two passes defensed, and two quarterback pressures, but a torn Achilles in the 2024 preseason derailed his upward trajectory.
Once healthy, he signed with Tennessee in July 2025, spent the entire season on the Titans practice squad, and re-signed with the organization on a reserve/futures deal in January.
He will now suit up with the Titans against the Browns in Week 7 action at Nissan Stadium.
