The Tennessee Titans signed defensive tackle Jordan Elliott to a two-year, $8 million contract with $3.24 million this offseason, reuniting with Robert Saleh. Elliott has had a limited role so far, averaging 34% of defensive snaps, his lowest snap share of his career since 2020. He has recorded 11 tackles, eight stops, zero tackles for loss, zero pressures, and zero sacks across five games, one start, and 114 snaps. The 325-pound defensive tackle was made a healthy scratch in Week 6 against the Titans.

The Titans released a statement saying they released Jordan Elliott after an incident at the team facility last Thursday, as reported by Easton Freeze of A to Z Sports. The front office did not provide any specifics about the alleged incident. Turron Davenport of ESPN NFL Nation reported that this had nothing to do with Alontae Taylor being a healthy scratch last Sunday.
Saleh hinted on Friday that something was up when he said that Elliott would not practice. Saleh said it wasn't injury-related and that it was "personal stuff." When asked if he would play Sunday, he said, "I'm not there yet," as reported by Austin Stanley of A to Z Sports.
