Recap, highlights from Texas A&M's Maroon & White Game

COLLEGE STATION, TX. — Texas A&M's 2026 spring season came to a close on Saturday during the annual Maroon & White Game, as third-year head coach Mike Elko will likely walk away from the final scrimmage with mixed emotions after senior linebacker and one of the program's five team captains, Daymion Sanford , left the game with an apparent lower-body injury, and was carted off the field.

Still, several offseason transfer additions, led by Alabama transfer wide receiver Isaiah Horton , all looked like immediate upgrades, while junior star wideout Mario Craver 's elite speed and quickness was also on full display. On defense, transfer safety Tawfiq Byard was all over the field, while transfer edge Anto Saka also recorded the teams first sack of the game.
