🤑Thanks to its internationals, Chivas will receive a FIFA windfall
The final call-up for the Mexican National Team for the 2026 World Cup brought excellent financial news to the offices at Verde Valle. Chivas de Guadalajara, under Amaury Vergara's management, established itself as the Liga MX club contributing the most players to Javier Aguirre's setup, a sporting benefit that will translate into a historic economic boost.
The breakdown of a daily windfall
The Sacred Flock sent five of its starting pieces to form the backbone of El Tri: Armando "Hormiga" González, Brian Gutiérrez, Luis Romo , Raúl "Tala" Rangel, and Roberto "Piojo" Alvarado. Thanks to FIFA's Club Benefits Programme, the Guadalajara institution will receive a payment of $11,000 per day for each player, totaling $55,000 for every day of training camp.

A balm after the sporting blow
The revenue began coming in on May 7 at the High Performance Center. To date, Guadalajara already has $2,750,000 secured in its coffers.
This millionaire windfall will continue to grow depending on Mexico 's progress in the tournament, serving as financial relief after the bitter disappointment suffered by Gabriel Milito's team, which had to face the Clausura playoffs shorthanded, where Cruz Azul was crowned champion.
