Three charges not pursued against Carius Curne; no sentencing scheduled on others
OXFORD – Three charges filed against Ole Miss offensive lineman Carius Curne – possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance of less than four ounces and improper lane change – will not be pursued in court, according to Arkansas’ court data base. Curne’s case was heard at Crittenden County District Court in West Memphis on Monday morning.
The disposition for charges of reckless driving, fleeing on foot and speeding more than 15 miles per hour over the speed limit were guilty, per court records, as he pleaded nolo contendere. He paid a $2,150 dollar fine and does not have any sentencing scheduled.
Curne, who transferred to Ole Miss from LSU this offseason, was arrested in Arkansas on Saturday. He started five games at tackle for LSU as a true freshman last season and is expected to compete for a starting position on the Rebels’ offensive line in 2026. He was a consensus four-star recruit and was rated as a four-star transfer and the No. 2 offensive tackle in the transfer portal by 247Sports.
