- Three former Sycamores announce new destinations
Over the past few days, three different now former Indiana State men's basketball players announced new destinations on their respective social media accounts.
Jayan Walker, a 6-foot-6, 200-pound guard announced on his X account Monday that he was transferring to Alcorn State, who ISU actually played last season. Walker will be a junior next season and averaged 2.5 points, 1.6 rebounds and 0.4 assists over two seasons.

Also Monday in a joint Instagram post, Elon University and Hunter Harding, a 7-foot-1, 255-pound center, announced he'd be transferring there from ISU for his junior season. In his lone season with the Sycamores, Harding averaged 1.8 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.5 assists.
On Tuesday in another joint Instagram post, Jo Van Buggenhout and Sacred Heart University announced he'd be transferring there after one season at ISU. Van Buggenhout, a 6-foot-2 guard, 195-pound guard who will be a senior next season, averaged 6.3 points, 3.1 assists and two rebounds a game last season for ISU.
Prior transfer announcements include 6-foot-6, 195-pound guard Bruno Alocen staying in the conference and state and moving north to join the Valparaiso Beacons for his junior year. Enel St. Bernard, a 6-foot-6, 215-pound forward previously announced he'd be transferring to Sam Houston State for his senior season. Derek Vorst, a 6-foot-10, 250-pounds center previously announced he'd be transferring to Cleveland State for his senior season.
As far as the others who announced they were entering the portal, there have been no new destinations announced.
