There are three important Boston Celtics players who need to level up this season. Or at least that is the point of view of the hosts of the "How Bout Them Celtics!" podcast, Jack Simone and Sam LaFrance, who took the time on a recent episode of their show to talk over how the trio of young wings the Celtics need to step up are doing – and which on of Baylor Scheierman, Jordan Walsh, and Hugo González should be seeing the floor when and vs. who.
With Boston looking to at least one of these three rising prospects to help carry the offensive void created by the trade of star forward Jaylen Brown to the Philadelphia 76ers this summer, it will be critical to the Celtics success in the 2026-27 NBA regular season for one of the trio to actually pan out.
