💶 A tidy sum, Spain's bonuses for winning the World Cup
The Spanish national team is already in the World Cup final, and its players are not only brushing up against sporting glory, but also a historic financial windfall. The Royal Spanish Football Federation finalized the bonus agreement before the tournament even began. Now, with a place in the final secured, the definitive figures have come to light.
Simply for playing in the final, each Spain player is already guaranteed €440,000 gross. This is the reward set for the World Cup runner-up, a financial floor that rewards the squad's extraordinary run right through to the last day of competition.

However, the biggest prize awaits if Spain manages to lift the trophy. If the national team is crowned champion, each international will pocket €750,000. This figure is an all-time record for Spanish football in this type of tournament.
This incentive of three-quarters of a million euros represents 25% more than what the champions of South Africa 2010 earned. On that historic occasion, the players received €600,000 after beating the Netherlands.
The squad led by the national team coach already knows the true value of reaching the very top. Only 90 minutes remain to decide whether they return home with glory and a historic cheque under their arm.
