The Timberwolves sent Randle and the No. 28 pick in this week's NBA Draft to the Nets. Minnesota received Brooklyn's No. 33 pick, while the Bulls landed Nic Claxton .
The Nets were not widely mentioned in rumors surrounding Randle, who spent two seasons with the Timberwolves.
Jaden McDaniels was on vacation when someone informed him of Randle's move to Brooklyn. Safe to say, McDaniels was blindsided by it .
"Oh, that's crazy," said the hard-nosed forward, quickly checking his phone.
McDaniels' reaction quickly went viral, drawing mixed comments on X.
"Saying, 'Oh, that's crazy' with a full-blown smile got me crying," said @TokyoAux.

"Bro ruined his vacation, LMAO," added @ImBackKT.
"Judging by the body language, he wanted him out after that stinker playoff run," claimed @soyjosue_r.
"He's smiling way too hard. He wanted Randle gone," echoed @rodrecodings.
"McDaniels needs to take a scoring leap. I think he could do it," commented @topofgame9886.
McDaniels and Randle formed a strong bond in Minnesota, teaming up in the frontcourt, along with Rudy Gobert and Naz Reid .
Randle averaged 21.1 points, 6.7 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.1 steals this season. He struggled in the playoffs, especially in the Western Conference Finals against the San Antonio Spurs .
