Titans add secondary depth, sign Jets safety Tony Adams
Tennessee Titans head coach talks about his defense playing fast and violent, and he and general manager Mike Borgonzi have gone out of their way to add players familiar with the system to help bring the rest of the roster up to speed once offseason activities begin, and that trend continued on Thursday.
Rich Cimini of ESPN reports the Titans are signing New York Jets safety Tony Adams to a one-year contract.

Adams entered the league as an undrafted rookie free agent with the Jets following the 2022 NFL Draft and spent his entire career in New York, amassing 232 tackles, two sacks, and four interceptions in his career.
Adams will now bring his knowledge and skillset to Nashville and join Amani Hooker and Kevin Winston as the Titans' top safeties, a unit that lacked depth after the release of Xavier Woods earlier in the offseason.
