Three wins. Three wins. Six wins. Seven wins. It has been a losing four-year stretch for the Titans. But they have a new coach in Robert Saleh . And there’s hope for a big turnaround , according to TitansWire.com.
Let’s take a look at what will happen if the Titans avoid season-changing injuries. Of course, we’ll use that same criteria for their opponents.
Week 1 vs. New York Jets
One of the good things about coming off a bad season is getting opponents like the Jets. It’s possible the Jets could be among the worst teams in football.
Meanwhile, the Titans should be able to handle this game. The Titans’ defense should make life tough for Jets quarterback Geno Smith , who won’t have great weapons at his disposal. WIN

Record: 1-0
Week 2 vs. Philadelphia Eagles
Granted, the Eagles have slipped away from their Super Bowl greatness. They were still very good in 2025, but not enough to get back to the elite level of 2024.
The Titans may be able to keep this one close for a while. But as the Eagles stand right now, still having AJ Brown , they have too many weapons. LOSS
Record: 1-1
Week 3 at New York Giants
If this were a home game, it might fall more in the Titans’ favor. But playing on the Giants’ home field and against a quality coach like John Harbaugh, the Titans will have a tough day.
Look for QB Jaxson Dart to be the difference-maker. LOSS

Record: 1-2
Week 4 at Baltimore Ravens
There’s a new coach in Baltimore, but it’s same guy at quarterback. And Lamar Jackson presents a troubling task for the Titans.
The fact that the Titans haven’t seen Jackson in a while adds to the difficulty. Division foes tend to have better success against him. So this one could get ugly. LOSS
Record: 1-3
Week 5 vs. Houston Texans
The Titans have lost three straight to the Texans, including a 26-0 humiliation in 2025. And this matchup could be more of the same.
The Titans are still a work in progress on the offensive side of the ball. Meanwhile, the Texans could have the best defense in the NFL. It’s going to be tough for the Titans to find a way to win this one. LOSS

Record: 1-4
Week 6 at Indianapolis Colts
The Colts have ruled the Titans, winning six straight games in the series. And in 2025, they did it emphatically, earning wins of 41-20 and 38-14.
Perhaps the Titans are at least better equipped to make the games more competitive this year. But they can’t get over the top in this one. LOSS
Record: 1-5
Week 7 vs. Cleveland Browns
There are still many question marks for the Browns. And their offense will be a huge unknown when the season begins.
The Browns will still bring it on the defensive side of the ball. But this is a game where the Titans can hold their own and earn a victory. WIN

Record: 2-5
Week 8 at Cincinnati Bengals
Joe Burrow , Ja’Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins will haunt the Titans. The main reason is that the Titans’ secondary won’t be good enough to keep up with those two receivers.
One good thing is the Bengals still won’t be very good on defense. So maybe the Titans can make it entertainingly close. LOSS
Record: 2-6
Week 10 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Everybody’s surprise team last season, the Jaguars have high hopes. And they have won seven of the last eight meetings between these teams.
The Titans should be better on defense with a new head coach, free agents, and a couple of key draft picks. And the mix seems right for the Titans to pull off a home victory over the Jaguars this year. WIN

Record: 3-6
Week 11 at Dallas Cowboys
Yes, this is one of those “no chance” situations. The Cowboys have arguably the best offense in the NFL. They score 30 points like it’s nothing.
And this year’s team will be markedly better on defense. The Titans may take a 41-10 beatdown in this game. LOSS
Record: 3-7
Week 12 at Jacksonville Jaguars
There’s good news for the Titans as Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence isn’t always the most consistent player. However, sweeping the Jaguars in 2026 probably isn’t in the cards for the Titans.
This could turn into a divisional barnburner. And the Jaguars will find a way to win. LOSS

Record: 3-8
Week 13 vs. Washington Commanders
Who knows what the Commanders will be in 2026? Will Jayden Daniels stay healthy? Do they have enough offensive weapons? Will the defense be better?
The last question is why the Titans will have trouble. The Commanders will be better on defense, and that’s why the Titans won’t be able to keep up the pace. LOSS
Record: 3-9
Week 14 at Detroit Lions
More trouble for the Titans’ defense. Granted, the Lions didn’t meet expectations in 2025. But that just makes them hungrier for this season.
With so many stars on offense like receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and running back Jahmyr Gibbs , the Lions have too many weapons for the Titans to cover. LOSS

Record: 3-10
Week 15 vs. Indianapolis Colts
In recent years, the Titans have found problems trying to deal with running back Jonathan Taylor . And this will be another tough challenge.
However, in the dome, QB Daniel Jones and WR Alec Pierce will present the biggest issues. And the Colts will win in runaway fashion. LOSS
Record: 3-11
Week 16 at Las Vegas Raiders
Finally, a team the Titans can find to their liking. The Raiders simply don’t have a lot of things that scare opponents. They’re not overly impressive on either side of the ball.
Looks for this to be one of the Titans’ biggest margins of victory for the season. WIN

Record: 4-11
Week 17 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
What are the Steelers doing at quarterback? Since we’re doing these predictions as things stand now, we have to consider Mason Rudolph as the starter.
Of course, the Steelers will still win a handful of games even with Rudolph behind center. But on the road against the Titans isn’t one of them. WIN
Record: 5-11
Week 18 at Houston Texans
Division rivalries are fun. And sometimes they present great opportunities for upsets. The Titans will be a clear underdog on the road, but look for them to find a way.
Quarterback Cam Ward has his best game of the season, and the Titans grab the road shocker. WIN

Record: 6-11
The final analysis
With a record of 6-11, the Titans aren’t going to be mentioned as much of a playoff threat. But considering that this win total would be equal to the last two years combined, it’s a big step forward. This is exactly the kind of result Saleh needs in his first season as the Titans’ head coach.
