As the Indianapolis Colts prepared for their divisional matchup against the Tennessee Titans , they faced a significant setback on offense. Star tight end Tyler Warren was ruled inactive due to a groin injury sustained during Friday's practice, ending his consecutive-game appearance streak, as he had entered the weekend as a game-time decision.
While injury updates and roster changes dominated discussions in Indianapolis, shocking news altered the situation for their upcoming opponents. A report shared on X by Ari Meirov revealed that the Titans had released defensive tackle Jordan Elliott following an incident that occurred at the team facility on Thursday, October 15. The team conducted a review of the incident and stated that they would have no further comment. Meirov noted that Elliott, who has 65 career starts, had appeared in five games this season for Tennessee. His departure marked an unexpected end to his time with the franchise after the internal review.
This sudden release leaves the Titans short-handed along the defensive line as they try to stabilize following a challenging stretch, adding another layer of unpredictability to an already dramatic week of football in the division.
