Titans training camp preview: 3 undrafted rookies to keep an eye on
One of the final parts of Titans Wire's training camp previews is to look at the Tennessee Titans ' undrafted rookie free agents and see if any have a chance to make an impact in 2026.
While there are some talented players in this group, it is hard to see a path for some of them who come in at stacked positions. Yes, it's possible some of those, such as wide receiver Tyren Montgomery or offensive tackle Aamil Wagner, will surprise; their paths appear harder than those of some other undrafted rookies.

Here is a look at three undrafted rookies who could make a name for themselves during camp.
CB Latrell McCutchin Sr.
Tennessee has some depth questions they must answer at the cornerback position behind Alontae Taylor, Cor'Dale Flott, Joshua Williams, and Marcus Harris, and McCutchin could work his way into the mix. The Titans spent a lot of time studying him during the pre-draft process and made him a priority early on.
McCutchin has solid size and athleticism for an NFL cornerback, and has flashed some potential in college. There are some questions about his ball skills after not recording an interception in college, but he is a prospect who could surprise as a depth piece for a unit with some unknowns entering camp.

S Bishop Fitzgerald
Of all of the undrafted rookie free agents, Fitzgerald may have the most straightforward path. Tennessee did not make a concerted effort to address the safety position during the offseason after releasing Xavier Woods, adding only Tony Adams to back up Amani Hooker and Kevin Winston Jr.
It was a bit of a surprise that Fitzgerald went undrafted, and now he has a perfect opportunity to compete with the Titans. He has ball-hawking ability and some plus athleticism, but his game is inconsistent, and he lacks the game-changing traits many teams are drawn to. The Titans could look to add a veteran, but until they do, Fitzgerald will have every opportunity to grab a spot.
LB Shad Banks Jr.
The Titans' linebacking corps is a bit of a mystery at this point. Cedric Gray, Cody Barton, and second-round pick Anthony Hill Jr. will most likely hold down the starting rotation, but behind them and possibly James Williams, everything is up in the air.

Tennessee did bring in Mohamoud Diabate on a one-year deal, but there is room for Banks to compete and impress. Banks has some outstanding traits and looks the part of a sideline-to-sideline menace, but he must put those skills together. Talented but inconsistent, he followed up a solid four-year career at TCU with an outstanding season at UTSA, where he recorded 94 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, and two sacks. While he may have an uphill battle to earn a spot via special teams, it would not be a shock to see him make his way onto the final 53-man roster.
