Sacramento State got its first MAC win last week with a great 31-10 performance against Kent State. It was a high point for a program that's just getting going at an FBS level, and it was something to build on.
That was nice, but beating Toledo would be special.
The Rockets had a strange 23-8 loss to Buffalo, but it rolled Eastern Michigan and took out Western Michigan to get right back into the MAC race. This can't be a misstep if it wants to stay in the hunt.

Why Toledo Will Win
Sacramento State won last week because it played well, and Kent State has hit a rock-hard wall when it comes to scoring. That's not a problem for Toledo.
The Rockets are efficient when they get a chance, working behind an offensive line that gives everyone plenty of time to work. It's simple – don't turn the ball over, run well, and win.
The Rockets ran for well over four yards per carry in the six wins. Sacramento State is 0-6 when allowing more than four yards per pop.

About that Toledo not turning the ball over thing, no, it doesn't have a turnover problem, but it gave the ball away six times over the last three games, and three times when the offense was stuffed in the loss to Buffalo.
Kent State was hanging with the Hornets for a while last week, but then it started to screw up. Sacramento State forced five takeaways in the win, and on the other side, the offense moved well. The Hornets are 2-0 when running for over 130 yards, and the Rockets allow 127 a game.
