Frosinone goalkeeper Lorenzo Palmisani was rated as the best-performing Italy player during the most recent round of Serie A fixtures, but the 22-year-old is not part of Roberto Mancini's national team squad for the upcoming September-October international break.
All 20 Serie A sides were in action over the weekend, the fifth round of 2026-27 Serie A fixtures. Roma, Inter and Lazio remain unbeaten and level on 13 points at the top of the table, followed closely by the high-flying Cagliari on 12 points, Milan on 11 and Frosinone, Juventus and Como on 10.
One of the most eye-catching results of the weekend was Frosinone's 2-0 victory over Champions League outfit Como. 22-year-old goalkeeper Palmisani earned particular praise for his heroics between the sticks, keeping a clean sheet despite several one-on-one attempts from Moise Kean and Nico Paz on the night.
