Top 2027 recruit Jordyn Palmer has committed to South Carolina . The 6-1 wing from Oxford (PA) Westtown School chose the Gamecocks over Ohio State, UCLA and Penn State.

There were a few factors Palmer was considering in her decision.
"If they offer what I want to study," Palmer said. "Just seeing if the campus is right, if I bond with the team and if it feels right when I go there. Nothing too crazy, just as long as I'm comfortable."
Palmer is working on a few things in her game.
"Definitely my jump shot," she said. "My ability to pull up. I can do that now, but everybody knows me as going to the basket and being strong down low. So it's just elevating my game to a different level outside."
Palmer's commitment marks the Gamecocks' fourth of the 2027 cycle. They also landed Taylor Brown , GG Banks and Zaniya Johnson .
