Top MLB Home Run Bets for May 29: Yastrzemski, Torkelson, and Devers Shine

It’s "Friday Fly Ball Frenzy," and the home run setups are looking strong across the board. We have pitchers allowing plenty of fly balls, rough splits against specific sides of the plate, and a few hitters stepping into matchups they’ve already dominated in the past.

We have Mike Yastrzemski facing a pitcher he’s taken deep three times already, Spencer Torkelson drawing one of the more homer-prone righties on the slate, and Rafael Devers getting a matchup against a starter who has completely unraveled in May. If you’re chasing home run props Friday night, these are bats with serious moonshot potential.

Best Home Run Props Today

Mike Yastrzemski Home Run Bet(+414)

Yastrzemski only has three home runs this season, but this matchup against Chris Paddack is tough to pass up. Yastrzemski has absolutely handled Paddack in his career, batting .400 with three home runs in 25 at-bats. All three of his homers this season have also come against righties. Paddack gives up plenty of fly balls, and lefties are hitting .311 against him.

Spencer Torkelson Home Run Bet (+286)

Torkelson gets a great matchup Friday against Erick Fedde , who has already allowed 12 home runs this season, including 10 to right-handed hitters. That’s exactly the profile we want for Torkelson, who has hit seven of his eight home runs against righties. He’s also coming in with some momentum after going deep in his last game on Wednesday.

Rafael Devers Home Run Bet (+564)

Michael Lorenzen has been a disaster in May, going 0-4 with a 9.15 ERA while allowing four home runs in his last four starts. That sets up nicely for Devers, especially since eight of the 10 home runs Lorenzen has allowed this season have come against left-handed hitters. Devers has done most of his damage against righties, too, with six of his seven home runs coming in those matchups. After hitting just two home runs in April, he’s already launched five in May.
