The Neroverdi started better and went close through Pinamonti , while Torino grew into the game as the minutes passed and hit the crossbar with Njie. The match changed early in the second half: in the 51st minute, Thorstvedt put Sassuolo ahead after making the most of a ball sent back into the middle by Lipani .
Torino, however, responded immediately. Simeone first hit the crossbar with a header, then found the equaliser in the 66th minute thanks to a perfect cross from Ebosse . Five minutes later came the goal to complete the turnaround: Zapata did brilliantly down the left and picked out Pedersen at the back post, with the Norwegian heading past Muric for the final 2-1.
D'Aversa's side bounced back immediately after the defeat to Udinese and claimed three points: with this win, Torino move up to 44 points, overtaking Parma into 12th place, while Sassuolo remain 10th on 49 points.

In the 66th minute, from Ebosse's cross from the left, 'Cholito' did well to shake off his marker.
The Torino striker headed past Muric: it was Simeone's 11th goal in this Serie A campaign.
Shortly afterwards, the Granata completed the comeback through Pedersen: the move started from a Zapata cross aimed at the back post. The ball, slightly deflected, fell perfectly onto the head of the Norwegian wide man, who made no mistake from close range and beat Muric with a simple header.

😍 Thorstvedt scores, Sassuolo dream of Europe
Sassuolo took the lead away to Torino thanks to Kristian Thorstvedt.
The move came from a long-range effort by Matic and, above all, a brilliant piece of play by Lipani, who managed to keep a ball in play with a sliding effort when it seemed all but lost.
The Neroverdi midfielder then sent the ball into the middle of the box, where Thorstvedt was in the right place and only had to tap it in from a few steps out. It was 1-0 Sassuolo in the 51st minute, with the Neroverdi moving to within three points of seventh-placed Atalanta .

After a poor clearance by Nemanja Matic , "Cholito" set himself and attempted a brilliant overhead kick that forced Arijanet Muric to tip the ball behind for a corner.
The move, however, was immediately halted by the referee for an earlier foul by Valentino Lazaro on Josh Doig , making the Granata forward's spectacular effort count for nothing.
💥 Sassuolo, TRIPLE chance wasted
A huge triple chance for Sassuolo against Torino during a spell of strong attacking pressure from the Neroverdi.
From a corner, Muharemovic was left completely unmarked by the Granata defence, but Luca Marianucci made a last-ditch intervention to prevent Sassuolo from taking the lead.

Moments later came the biggest chance of all: Lipani struck hard towards the near post, Paleari parried, and the ball fell to Andrea Pinamonti, who from a favourable position was unable to hit the target.
Finally, Armand Laurienté tried his luck with a powerful long-range strike, but the French forward's right-footed effort flew high over the bar.
😱 Njie's INCREDIBLE crossbar
Torino came within inches of taking the lead against Sassuolo.
From a corner taken by Gineitis , Njie rose highest of all, also taking advantage of Arijanet Muric's completely mistimed run off his line.
The Granata player's header, however, crashed dramatically against the crossbar, leaving the score still locked at 0-0.
