LaMelo Ball has had to develop good partnerships with other Minnesota Timberwolves players following Anthony Edwards' injury.
Ball and Ant-Man were phenomenal together in the opening games, but a lot of the burden has fallen on the former since Edwards had to undergo surgery.
Against the Milwaukee Bucks, Ball was the star of the show, and he seemed to be forming a good partnership with Ayo Dosunmu as well.
LaMelo Ball says Ayo Dosunmu is 'faster than no other'
Dosunmu has made a terrific name for himself since joining the Minnesota Timberwolves in February 2026.
The 26-year-old was a rotational player last season, but he has developed into a starter in recent games and has produced some excellent performances.
In the defeat against the San Antonio Spurs, Dosunmu scored a season-high 27 points and recorded nine rebounds, three assists and three steals.
Then, against the Bucks on Monday night, the former Chicago Bulls star scored 19 points and recorded 12 rebounds, eight assists, a steal and a block.
Along with his individual brilliance, Dosunmu's partnership with Ball has been great to see, and the latter seems to be enjoying it as well.
When asked about their impressive combination plays, Ball said, as per Dane Moore on X: "It's pretty much just chemistry.
"I like to play fast, and he's faster than no other. He's like a track star out there. Whenever I see him in an open lane, pretty much, I try to get him going."
It has been good so far, but there's still more to come from Ball and Dosunmu, especially in offence, as both players are capable of scoring plenty in every game.
Up next for the Timberwolves is a tough game against the Toronto Raptors on the road. If Ball and Dosunmu produce their best, Minnesota should come away with a win.
