Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce will close out his 13th NFL season on Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders . With the Chiefs set to miss the playoffs, it will be the final game before Kelce's contract runs out, prompting a potential retirement decision for the three-time Super Bowl champion this offseason.
Kelce, 36, has continued producing at a high level on the field. Entering Week 18, he leads the team with 73 receptions, 839 receiving yards and five touchdowns (tied). The future Hall of Famer has continued to make history amid the absence of injured quarterback Patrick Mahomes in recent weeks.

In the hours leading up to his final game of the 2025 regular season, the focus on Kelce shifted to news off the field. His foundation, Eighty-Seven & Running , announced via Instagram that one of the Chiefs' star's charitable initiatives over the holidays had been a massive success.
"This holiday season, over 3000 @operationbreakthrough families in Kansas City were provided with gifts and essential needs from @newheightshow x @amazon ," said the announcement on Instagram, including a video of hundreds of empty boxes in a warehouse.
Travis and his brother, Jason Kelce , first shared plans for the holiday gift drive on their podcast, "New Heights," in December. The Kelces worked in conjunction with local Kansas City nonprofit Operation Breakthrough to deliver the gifts, many of which were purchased by fans via a public Amazon wish list .
The Chiefs star called Operation Breakthrough "an organization that is incredibly close to our hearts." He has worked with them consistently during his 13-year career in Kansas City, including letting kids from their Ignition Lab design his "My Cause My Cleats" custom cleats this season.
His charity work has been recognized extensively this season. Kelce was named the Chiefs' club winner for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award for the third time in his career, and he leads all WPMOY club winners in fan voting for the Charity Challenge. If he finishes with the most votes, he will secure a $35,000 donation for Operation Breakthrough.
No matter what Kelce's NFL future holds this offseason, his legacy in Kansas City on and off the field will live on for many years to come.
The Chiefs-Raiders game kicks off from Las Vegas at 4:25 p.m. ET on CBS.
