Year 13 is officially over for Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce . The season came to an end for the Chiefs on Sunday as they suffered a 14-12 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders . It was a disappointing conclusion to the campaign for Kelce and Co., who are set to miss the playoffs for the first time since 2014.
On Tuesday, Travis Kelce and his older brother Jason Kelce announced their special guest on their podcast. This will be the first "New Heights" show after Travis Kelce's 13th season with the Chiefs, as uncertainty looms over his future in the NFL .

Travis Kelce has been elusive when it comes to questions about his retirement. This was the case yet again for the four-time All-Pro TE after Sunday's loss to Las Vegas. Kelce said that there will be the right place and the right time for him to make his announcement on his decision.
The Kelce brothers made a different announcement on Tuesday night. This came in the form of their latest big-name podcast guest. Wednesday's episode will feature Academy Award-winning actor Matt Damon.
As always, it was Jason Kelce who provided the epic introduction for their guest. Travis Kelce did his bit to hype Damon with his usual side-comment reactions.
"That was awesome," Damon said of the intro. "I feel like I should run out of the locker room and go hit somebody."
Apart from having another A-list celebrity on the podcast, Wednesday's episode will also be Travis Kelce's first show now that the season has officially ended for the Chiefs. Kansas City has been eliminated from playoff contention for weeks now, and the Chiefs star has had the opportunity to address the unfortunate situation multiple times. However, this will be the first episode after what could have been Travis Kelce's final NFL season.
It is worth noting that last year, Travis Kelce's decision to return with the Chiefs was officially announced via their podcast . This could be the case again this time around once the 11-time Pro Bowler is ready to reveal his decision.
