There was a certain amount of woofing in this game, including this play.
After blocking a drive by Foster, Coastal Carolina's Tristan Thompson started talking smack. In response, Foster pointed to the scoreboard, which showed Duke up by 53. Then he got the inbounds by the Duke bench and nailed a three to push the lead to 56.
Foster was right. It's like bragging about hitting someone in the shoulder right after they just knocked you on your ass. And his response was absolutely perfect – both of them. There really wasn't much Thompson could say about that.
Incidentally, for anyone wondering, a Chanticleer is a rooster. More specifically, it comes from an Old French phrase chante cler , which means "sing clear."
