Philadelphia 76ers star Tyrese Maxey has continued to grow as a leader on and off the floor as he has taken the younger players under his wing in an effort to help them grow and develop in the league. Maxey has a maniacal work ethic and that has rubbed off on his teammates as he grows in his own way in the league.
The 2-time All-Star has been in the gym with the likes of younger teammates VJ Edgecombe and Labaron Philon Jr. to help them grow and prepare for what's to come in the 2026-27 season. Maxey, second-year guard Edgecombe, and rookie Philon have been in the gym with trainer Chris Johnson dribbling with a heavier ball in order to work on ball-handling and different situations opposing defenses will throw at them.
