Arman Tsarukyan's behaviour outside the cage has often divided opinion, with Dana White previously saying he needs to stop "being a maniac". Despite that, the lightweight contender had been rebuilding his image.
After missing out on a title shot, Tsarukyan stayed active through grappling matches and livestream collaborations. That approach helped him gain popularity and shift perception in recent months.

However, an incident last Thursday has raised fresh concerns.

Tsarukyan was reportedly removed from an American Airlines flight travelling from Los Angeles to Philadelphia, alongside two friends.
According to content creator Adam Zubayraev, the situation unfolded due to Tsarukyan using his phone during takeoff.
That explanation raised eyebrows, as passengers are typically allowed to use devices if they are set to airplane mode.
The unusual nature of the claim quickly attracted attention across social media platforms.
